Who I Am

My name is Md Abdul Hakim Miah, but most people know me simply as Abdul or Babu — a name I chose as a teenager when I was still shaping who I wanted to be.

I was born and raised in Dhaka, a city that teaches you how to dream and how to struggle, often at the same time. My education took me across Tangail, Kurigram, and Dhaka — from textiles to business, commerce to software. Eventually, I built my own path as the founder of an aviation consultancy firm.

Yet beyond the labels of business owner, consultant, or professional, I’m just a man trying to stay connected to his inner self.

Why I Write

On the surface, life may look busy — client meetings, deadlines, and the never-ending pace of work. But inside, I often long for quiet conversations. Reflection. Honesty.

Sometimes, when there’s no one to talk to, I’ve learned to talk to myself — through words. That’s how Heart to Heart was born.

This is not just a blog.
It’s a space to breathe.
A space where thoughts can flow freely, without judgment.

Because when life gets heavy, sometimes all we need is a corner of stillness — a place to sit, reflect, and whisper our truths.

A Life of Journeys

I’ve been blessed with opportunities to see the world:

• The bustling alleys of Istanbul
• The skyscrapers of New York
• The serene prayers of Makkah and Madinah
• The vibrant streets of Singapore and Bangkok

In total, I’ve traveled across 11 countries, performing Umrah several times and completing Hajj in 2015 — a journey that forever reshaped the way I see life.

At every airport, every street corner, every prayer mat, I’ve paused and asked myself:
“What does it all mean?”

That question — and the reflections it brings — is what I want to share with you here.
