I was not born into privilege.
I was born in Dhaka, raised on its restless streets, and studied in places like Tangail, Kurigram, and again in Dhaka. No foreign degree. No VIP connections. No overnight success story.
What I had was simple: a heart full of ambition, a restless mind that wouldnât stop questioning, and one quiet but unshakable force â belief.
That belief saved me.
đą A Message for Every Dreamer
If you are a young dreamer reading this from a small townâĻ
If you are stuck in a low-paying job, watching others move aheadâĻ
If your parents cannot guide you because they never had these chancesâĻ
If people laugh at your ideas or smirk at your English with a Bengali accentâĻ
đ This post is for you.
I want you to know something very simple â yet powerful:
Belief in yourself can transform your entire life.
đ My Beginning Was Simple
I didnât start with a clear plan. I started with frustration.
I moved from one job to another. I earned just enough to survive. I watched friends go abroad, others land bank jobs, while I was still figuring out my direction.
But slowly, I stopped comparing myself with others.
I stopped looking outward.
I started looking inward.
And I realized:
- If I want to grow, I need to build skills.
- If I want to matter, I must show value.
- If I want respect, I have to first respect my own potential.
That shift in mindset was the true beginning of my journey.
đ§ Lessons I Learned â That You Should Too
If you want to change your life, start here:
- Believe in yourself even when no one else does.
- Learn English â not for prestige, but because it unlocks opportunity.
- Gain IT skills â even simple tools like Excel, email, and online research can open doors.
- Improve communication â more opportunities will come from how you speak and connect than you can imagine.
- Be consistent â success doesnât require speed; it requires steady direction.
And always remember: your background doesnât define your ceiling â your mindset does.
âNever Give Up. If nobody walks with you, walk yourself. Do not lose hope.â
đŦ To Every 18-Year-Old Reading This
I was like you once â unsure, curious, and quietly desperate to break through.
Now, Iâve achieved much of what I once dreamed of. I am not famous, but I am fulfilled.
I own a business. I work with airlines. Iâve seen the world. Most importantly, I walk with confidence â because I built it myself, step by step.
So keep going.
- If nobody claps for you yet, clap for yourself.
- If nobody guides you, guide yourself.
- If nobody believes in you, be the first to believe.
You are not late.
You are not small.
You are not broken.
You are just getting started.
With belief,
â Abdul
